Hi cvr_30
In the same boat. Be prepared to utilise this resource of professionals - both trade-worthy and home-experienced sages.
Every question I've asked (somewhat silly as it may seem) gets answered with care and consideration.
Welcome aboard.

Hi cvr_30
Welcome aboard,
My recommendation,
If you have the appropriate tools, saw, chisel, bevel gauge
marking gauge, bite the bullet and just give it a go. Use
some scrap wood and do your worst, with enough practice
you'll be doing your best work. Keep the books beside you
as you go, kinda like baking a cake.
