Covering existiing internal doorway with plasterboard?
Hi
Anyone please tell me if I need a building permit to remove an internal door (one of two) from the hallway into our lounge and then cover both sides of the doorway with plasterboard to make it a smooth wall both sides?
The internal wall the door is in is load bearing but I won't be touching any structural elements - just removing the door itself so I can cover the opening.
Thanks
