Kero or turps will be the story. Also good on axe handles if that is what you have been doing.

Thanks Murray. I also thought there was a softer option for some reason.

I use Oatmeal soap . We have Cussons Oatmeal Soap over here , maybe you do too .
It also gets the tree resin out of your hair , a common occurrence from plantation pruning .
It is the only soap I use , no need for any other

I've found that washing my hands using sorbolene instead of soap gets a fair selection of goo, gunk, muck, and stuff off.
    Have a good one

Rub Barrier Cream into your hands before you start and you will find it easier too wash hands clean when you finish.

I use a squirt of concentrated dish washing liquid, gets your hands clean very quickly. Also works well in cleaning car grease from your hands.

Hi. There is a natural product that has eucalyptus oil in it. Can't think of the name off the top of my head, will look when I get home. It is a sandy sort of texture (although non-abrasive), bluey/grey color, comes in a small round tub. Great for getting off paint, silicon, oil etc got it from an organic healthfood shop and it's great. I'll get the name for you.
