    Default bleaching american white oak

    i need to bleach the yellow out of some white amercian oak so we can apply a very lite white stain.

    any ideas what we can use, oxide acid?

    To get the white color you need a strong chemical bleach. You can use a hydrogen peroxide ( part A) with sodium hydroxide ( part B).
    You also need heat to get the best result.

    Mix the part A with part B then spray or brush on your wood.
    Put it in the sunlight until you get the white color. You may need to apply your chemical bleach several times to get the white color you need.
    Let it to cure completely for minimum 24 hours.

    thanks we ended up getting another colour approved, as it would have been to much work with 2000 blocks 400x80 to be done,
