Hi from Jim
Hi all,
First time on this forum so just doing what everyone else does, just a quick intro.
My name is Jim and live in Sydney's eastern suburbs. I am into anything to do with building, wood, metal, bricks, etc
I've built cars, furniture and most recently started on major renovations on our house. The aim is to complete the work without any other trades than the essential, ie plumber, electrician and the odd one to help out. Also, aimed to re-use as much of the materials and use as much as possible re-cycled and restored materials such as windows, bricks, etc. So far it has been a great experience over the past 3 years with only a few months to go, I am at about the 95% mark. I have a very patient wife so that really helps.
I am not a tradesperson so I am learning as I am going hence I looked for something like this forum to try to work out some of the tricky things !
I hope to have something to offer in return so I am looking forward to the interaction via this forum.
thanks in advance.
Jim.
