Chopping Board (Bark on edges)
I have been given a slice of Jarrah log. Around 50 cm dia by 5cm thick.
After a year in the garage i have finally got around to finishing it off. Both sides have been sanded and are ready for oil.
My question is, how do i smooth the bark on the edge? I just want it smooth enough so that if it slips when handled, it won't gouge the hand of the carrier.
Is there a special way that woooden pieces like boards and bar-tops have their bark edges finished.
Is it sandpapered or a wire brush on a drill. Any pics of the tool would help.
