Hi all,

Another issue. I have had an attic room with a floor only for a few years and have finally decided to create a storage room out of it.The flooring is pretty good (it has had a sub-floor put in). However, we have that horrible fibrey insulation that gets everywhere so it needs to be sealed up pretty good.

I'm going to knock together a timber frame around the outside and plasterboard the walls.

I am concerned however about hanging anything too heavy from the roof timbers as they alrady have a little sag (from age - they are close to 100 years old), so plasterboard is out. My only semi reasonable thought has been to line to roof timbers with some builders plastic to weatherproof, then some kind of nylon / material that I can join to the top of the plasterboard - and just put some trim over the join.

Has anyone else had a similar problem?
