Parker mid century chair screws

Hi,
I'm in the process of restoring a set of Parker 1960's chairs I recently acquired and I've come across a problem replacing some missing original screws securing the chair back to the legs.
The existing original screws have an 'antique' finish and are a bit unusual. These screws are Phillips head, self-tapping countersunk with a raised/oval head [not a domed head]; measuring 3.5mm [1/8"] x 60mm [2.5"] and the head diameter is 8mm [less than 3/8"].
I can source similar sized countersunk flat head screws, but the head diameter is a bit too large for the countersink in the chair leg.
Does anyone know where I can get replacement screws; I only need 8 screw.
Hope someone out there can help me with this.

Could one use the larger screws, put them in a drill thread-first and sand the head to size?

The finish looks a lot like "pickling". This makes the metal black with some sort of oxide.

Some of the metal guys on the forum have described this process several times.

I think a couple of the original Parker cabinet makers started a restoration/ repair service in western suburbs Sydney some time ago, if they are still going and you can track them down they may be able to help I will check with a friend who might have used them.

I had thought of this solution and have it as a last option. I know I’m being a bit anal, but I’d like to use original/reproduction screws, or something more similar then flat heads.

The company is Covesmore Solutions in Seven Hills, owned by Tony Parker the son of Jack Parker owner of the original company, I haven't got contact info but you should be able to google them.
