Default Take 'em at their word

    Hi everyone,
My profile says I've been a member since 2006, and I have only posted 16 comments. I'm not really slack. It's just that until this time last year I had to earn my keep (although some rude folks at work disagreed with the "earn" bit).

Anyhow, I've now retired to Yass. Bravely or foolishly, depending on your perspective, I have just started building our new house. There's enough timber on the site to make most of you drool. All I have to do is put it together. I'll happily post progress pictures a) if anyone is remotely interested, and b) if someone can an appropriate part of the forum.

I've got my priorities right, though. The shed (9M * 6M) is built, has power and is partly lined. The block is literally across the fence from the golf course. By the way, I didn't find the block - Higher Authority did. Of course, never one to question her judgement (as the joke goes, look who she married), I agreed with the choice.

    That's it for now.

There is a renovate forum but this is a new build so I guess it should go in this sub-forum.

If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

G'Day & Welcome back to a top forum Joe,
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum & for the most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP photos with build notes.
    Enjoy the forum.
    Enjoy your retirement in Yass.
    Enjoy your woodwork.
    Cheers, crowie..
