Slow Tonight?
Is it the board or my Optus broadband I wonder?
The board is running like a dog at the mo.

If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Craig,
You weren't he only one, I tried a number of times and this forum wouldn't load Had no problems getting onto other sites and searches, but gave up trying here. All good this morning though...

Hi
We have a script that backs up the database every second night, it runs at 7:45pm and is usually finished at 8:20ish. When its dumping data from large tables like 'attachments' or 'post' or 'search index' the table will be locked and wont allow any reads or writes until its completed. The whole database is about 1GB and has 6,000,000+ records so the backup takes awhile to run.
I'll try running the backup in the early am instead.
cheersSteve
