Moved North
Well, after 18 years in Regents Park, the longest time either Ana or myself have lived in one abode, we have moved north to Dundowran Beach.
Where?, I hear you say. Dundowran is the beach wesrt of Hervey Bay.
Will fill in some more details at a later date.
Cheers, artme.

Just down the coast from Woodgate, I've been to Woodgate.
Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

Very nice, my grandparents lived in Dundowran during the 80s and 90s, and I used to go up there every September. I miss the place. They lived on Sawmill rd, and the remains of the old sawmill were in the forest block below her place. I don't know if it is still there, or if the bit of forest is still there, every year we went up, there was a new development ripping out some more bush or farmland, so who knows what's left?

Hope you checked the high/spring/surge tide marks as I have heard of some who have had problems in that area.

Michael - we live on Annette St., just off Sawmill Rd. No sign of any sawmill these days.
Bob - we are many metres above any sort of tide. We checked things out thoroughly and noted how low some of the places downhill and closer to the beach are.We are only 1.3k from the beach however, and that is a good thing as it is only a short walk.
I'surprised at how much development there is here in very low lying areas. The rain showed this up very well. Apart from the flood threat in such places I don't know how people put up with the mozzies, sandflies and midgies.

OK Raymond. I have a shed - 6mx6m and, GET THIS, it's air conditioned!!!
Also has a pool and enough area to plant an orchard and a vegie garden. 1880sq.m. all up.
House is built on steel piers so there is plenty of underneath storage. Just have to organize everything after we get the house sorted, and it stops raining.
Thanks for the good wishes everyone. Would love to see some of your smiling faces here .

I lived in the old queenslander at the end of Russell court, dundowren. On top of the hill, it had a great view. My parents owned the house at the corner of Eric and cypress street, it was handed down to my dad.

You poor old bloke AC and a pool your going to have to keep on top of the cleaning and minimising sawdust Arthur. It amazes me why people who live in such beach bound areas still have to have a pool its like taking coal to Newcastle.
Ok think I have deduced which place the 4 sale sign on google gave it away.
