French Antique finish
Hello all
Son & daughter-in-law have just hinted a project my way for the next grandchild.
It seems I'm going to strip back a "pre-loved" cot and refinish in french antique style of the "distressed" white variety.
Has anyone out there had success with this type of finish? I've heard about Porter's milk paint (seems hard to source though) but was thinking the same effect could be achieved with standard stuff as long as different coats/colours were worked out. I remember that Wattyl had a range of "antique" finishes a while back - but not anymore it seems.
Any thoughts please?cheers,
Bosun
keep smiling
