Default The Same, The World Over

    We all do it.
    I've done it.
    You've done it.

If the TV camera focuses on you at an event, you wave at the TV screen, then you realize that you are waving at the screen so you finally turn to wave at the camera.

It just shows that we're all human.

But, what do you do if the person with you isn't your spouse?

Shake their hand as if you have just been introduced to them.

Oh what a tangled web we weave
when at first we do practice to deceive

The grass is greener on the other side of the fence
until you find its nothing but a bed of nettles
The person who never made a mistake never made anything

    Cheers

One of my sisters went to visit our brother. She found him at work and so being lunchtime he suggested that get a feed at one of the pubs in Armidale. As they were walking down the street, arm in arm, a neighbour of my brother's was coming the other way. My brother said hello to the bloke and he seem embarrassed to even look at my brother.
Afterwards when he thought about it he realised that the neighbour didn't know my sister and so he thinks that my brother had a bit of fluff at lunchtime.
When he caught up with the neighbour weeks later, my brother told him who the woman was (our sister) but by the expression on the neighbours face, the explanation wasn't believed
    Just do it!

    Kind regards Rod

The closest I have ever got to this is taking my daughter out to dinner. I am conscious of the occasional "look" mainly from women, but I always assume the family resemblance exonerates me. Of course, I never really know.

There is the same issue with my son, but potentially more of a concern at the macho level . However the genes were even more prominent there and despite my best efforts I am told I cannot deny he is mine . I am troubled by the "apparent" resemblance as he has dreds .

    I'd have to wake up..

I dont go to events and if I did, my wife would be the one dragging me along...

But in response, it would be embarrasing, so probably keep waving...
