G'day from Brisbane
Hi all,
Just realised I've been a member here for a while but never really posted, so here goes.
I really loved woodwork at high school and needless to say each year it was my best subject. Did a bit of woodturning on a cheap charlie lathe at dad's place over the years but nothing too serious. Haven't really done much other woodworking since moving away from home to the big smoke for uni, but now that I've got my own place I built a shed and am slowly aquiring tools of my own.
I'm currently set up with a Triton 2000 workcentre with matching saw and router, and starting on my first real project - a toy box for my little girl. Might get some pics of it as it comes along, and no doubt I'll be looking for more info on here, especially when it comes time to finishing as that is where my knowledge/experience is most lacking.
Cheers, Steve.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Steve".
There are a heap of members in Brisbane and across S.E. Queensland.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork...
Cheers crowie
PS - Make sure you check out the toymaking section of the forum for ideas for your little girl...
