venting kitchen rangehood in downstairs flat
Hello,
We have a flat below our house and the small kitchen currently has no rangehood. We get cooking smells coming up into our part of the house all the time and desperately need to install some form of venting.
We don't have the option to vent through the roof as our bit of the house is in the way, and the cooker is placed against an internal wall (moving it to an external wall is not an option as it would then block a doorway). I'm advised that re-circulating rangehoods are next to useless so would really like to get an external vent fitted.
There is minimal space between their ceiling and our floor boards. We can't think of any options that will work so if anyone has got a good idea we'd be rapt!
