Electrical Mains Connection to Facia
Hi,
After some advice. I have an 1920's brick bungalow with the mains connected to the facia board on the front of the house. That in itself is no problem - but the facia is a problem - deteriorated and rotted.
Obviously to replace the facia (and various other bits that need replacing) I need to do a disconnect / reconnect or have it moved to a bracket that can be mounted elsewhere.
1. Does anyone know of a suitable bracket that could be used and where to purchase it - so then I can mount it and have the electrical guys simply disconnect and reconnect to the bracket in 1 visit? I remeber an old house I had years ago had a gal L shaped bracket that mounted on the front of the house....
2. Or - is there no option but to try and cut the timber and facia to correct size - have a disconnect, fit new members and then have the electrical guys return?
3. Is there a better way?
Anyone else had to do this and what did you do?
Cheers:2tsup:
