I would get asked each of those probably once a week. At a show like that you would get asked all of those questions by every 15 year old who goes past. How that is arrogant is beyond me.

We have an XR6 turbo and it is crap. The dept has had several of them blow motors and when Ford was queried about it, they said, it's not an SS, you can't drive it like one. :confused: :confused: Ok. I'll have the SS then.

Sorry to hear about the XR6T problems Dan - blown engines or turbos??

as to Ford's suggestion that it is not a SS - I find that strange and not an acceptable reason for blown engines

When I retired last year I replaced my 1995 XR6 with a brand new XR6T and it has been brilliant - no problems at all except it needs to run on premium which they also charge for here at an extreme premium.

I did check about allowing the turbo time to wind/run/cool down eg turbo timers as in the old days but was told "Not a problem" - however after a run on the highway etc I usually give it a couple of minutes of idle time.
