    Lightbulb Painted MDF Cupboard

    G'day,
I'm building bookcases for my daughter out of 16mm MDF which I then want to paint in bright colours. Can anyone recommend a particular combination of timber putty, sealing and painting that will be the most durable in this application. I use a CIG Easy Sprayer to apply water based acrylics but find their durability disappointing. Any ideas / advice would be appreciated

I guess that question really bit the big one, so I'll try another which is hopefully more interesting.

    Thanks

Darryl - Don't blame woodworkers for not answering this one. Use any good filler Timbermate is great. Use a good quality undercoat to seal the MDF then any good quality gloss plastic paint - NOT WATERBASED.

Talk to the people at your local paint shop they are supposed to be experts.

Hope this is of some help.

    Cheers - Neil

Thanks Neil, on second reading my last post does sound a bit sarcastic.
