Question Seeking 275mm (11") Sanding Disks In Perth

Yesterday, I purchased a bargain home-made disk sander utilizing a 0.3hp washing machine electric motor properly mounted on a 1" angle-iron base with adjustable rest and correctly wired to switch. The existing sandpaper disc is an exhausted. "ADALOX K122 80 Grit Ram's Head Cloth - For Sharpening Sheep Shears". I kid you not!
My problem: the lady vendor is unable to advise where her father purchased 11" sanding discs.
Is anyone able to advise where I can purchase 275mm (11") PSA sanding discs in Perth or SoR?

Hi 11" is an unusual size, you could try Elders, Landmark or any place that supply shearing equipment, failing that any good engineer supply place should have them might have to get 12" disc though. If no success, go to the Sandpaper Man, one of the sponsors of this forum.

My guess is that 12" budget type discs will be cheaper than any 11" discs

I got about a dozen velcro backed discs for a large floor sander (16"?) for nothing and cut them down to suit my 12" disc using just a pair of scissors. The scissors definitely needed sharpening after doing that but I was able to do that on one of the discs .
