Default Alan bought a new monitor for his computer

Alan bought a new monitor for his computer and haggled with the shopkeeper to reduce the price dramatically.
Alan was over the moon with his deal and was telling Barry about the good price he got it for.
"It was even a better deal than I thought" said Alan "When I plugged it in to my computer and switched it on, Windows XP was installed on the monitor too.and it never cost me an extra cent, how was that for a deal"?
    Reality is no background music.
    Cheers John

Sounds like when I played cards against my wife.
    I dealt myself five aces.
That was also a good deal.

    Default The monitor ?

    Hi Alan,
So what make and size of Monitor did you get, & you might like to tell us where to go for these Monitors, & we could all get a good deal. Just a thought.
    Regards,

I think the monitor was a 26" BenQ and available at any good Hardly Normal store
$199 with vista(cant sell them) and $250 with Win XP.A bulk buy by forum members would reduce those prices.
May as well lock me up with the others

"Aussie" --- "You guys are sick".
You are probably right mate but I am feeling better now
that you have responded to John's joke. Nothing worse
than putting a joke there and no one makes a comment.
    Many thanks.

"Issatree" --- Where to get such monitors.
A lots of customers go to "Deals 'R Us" but John and I
go to "Dills 'R Us" ... for obvious reasons.
    Cheers.
