    Default G'day im Michael

    G'day everyone,

I jumped the gun a bit an skipped my intro but thought id come back and take the step.

I'm Michael I'm 21 this july and live in sydney. I did woodwork as a subject in school from year 9 - 12
My original plan was to get into uni to become a woodwork teacher, but i ended up drawing the shorter straw and im doing science teaching. i will eventually become a wood teacher though!

End of last year start of this, i started woodworking as a hobby, started with making a sturdy work bench and mouted a wood vice under it.

Other then that ive done a few small projects with the limited time i have between uni semesters. rabbit hutch out of recycled materials, simple little storage box for a mate, and at the moment im making a linen chest.

    Slowly collecting tools!

Guess thats me, anything else just ask, I'm generally an open book!
    Michael

Funny you say that! The day i joined the forum i saw the link for the cheap entry, checked the dates and the last day for the sydney show was the day before, but i wouldnt have made it anyway as i had an exam that day so i wasn't HEAPS sore about it, just a little hahaha

i have made it out to one of them though, back in year 12 at school haha 2 of our guys entered the log sawing competition and won it, walked away with a tin of estapol and a nice shirt "i got wood at the wood show"

    Welcome Michael.
    .
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

    Regards, Woodwould.
