Finishing a table using Envirotex Lite
I am new at making furniture . A table is my first porject and I have made a river down the middle and used Envirotex Lite to go over the pebbles. Made a mess on the table top though and the river is now higher than the surrounding table top with the last layer of resin.
1. What grit sandpaper can I go up to to remove the excess resin, without making it virtually impossible to get the scratch marks out of the resin? I know about using 600 - 1000, and brasso to get the final finish, but I have a lot of resin bumps to remove first.
2. It is pretty hot and humid here at the moment and the Envirotex resin is quite thick, so am unsure of the process to lay down the final layer to get a smooth finish. Any tips and hints gratefully received!
