    Default WX#@%G AL-320G longitudinal/cross feed handle

Has anyone devised and fitted a simple stop to prevent flicking through neutral? Pics are good!

    Default AL 320G handle

you can't get more simple than this, just remove the pin for the side you want to use, Leroy.

    Default Al320G handle

from memory about 10 to 12mm deep, keep them a close fit with the pins so they don't wobble, I seem to remember one of the holes went right through and I had to plug it from underneath but that was just carelessness on my part,

I did basically the same thing, except I just used plain 3/16" ss rod for the removable pins.
Holes were drilled 3/16" and are 16mm deep. Pins are 41mm long.
Works like a charm and it's basically foolproof.
This is a basic design flaw in the AL-320G but this is a simple fix.

Here are some photos of my mod. Wasn't sure if I could figure out how to add them, but it seems to have worked.
I did not go through the casting with 16mm deep holes. The pin lying next to the lever was just left there to show the length for the photo. When I remove a pin to operate the feed handle, it gets put on the non skid decking material on top of the gearbox.
    All the best with it.

Why not just fit a spring loaded detent pin/ball under the handle base, and drill a register hole (s) where needed.

This is the same method as used for QCGB selection dials/levers.

Be a lot better than stuffing around with pins.

Be dead easy to make a larger metal base block if needed - just extend the rear away from the handle threaded side.
The worst that can happen is you will fail.
    But at least you tried.
