Workbench Top
What would the difference be in making a work bench top form:
A. Solid slab (Other than cost)
B. Rectangular strips laminated on their wide edge standing upright (commonly done)
C. Planks stacked & laminated for thickness
D. Offset Laminated Planks (Like Brick work)
Playing with the idea of making a bench and considering ways to do it from scrap timber, so may not have much choice in what dimensions I get.
Also would there be an issue with using old red gum sleepers milled to size?
