clamps (not gramps )
Hi All,
been a member for a short while , but have been busy, so the no visits.
its good to see so many interested people putting forward a lot of info about almost every subject imaginable. Not only about wood either.
With projects that involve wood there is alaways generally a small proportion of metal involved.
From your cutting tools, to hinges.
This site seems to cover them all.
When I read some inputs I see that there are quite a few people who need a lot of help and those that can give a lot. So I am sure this forum tends to even itself out.
This is why the forum is here , to help those in need.
Just before I posted this inrtroductory letter, I sat and typed an article about grinding chisels and planer irons.
I am by no means an expert on the subject, but a person that has just finished building a grinder to do just that.
All that I typed about this subject is lost, somewhere in the workings of the computer or the website.
Well, I will endeavour to re-write this article as I think that a few will endevour to build a grinder like I did.
if you want some photos of the project send me an e-mail.

It isn't lost, Errol. You probably just looked for it in the wrong places. For some odd reason, the "New Posts" Search omits posts that you've just seen or made. You can access it directly, however, from the Main Page sub-forum list, or "Today's Posts" under "Quick Links" on the top menu bar.
Welcome aboard.
Cheers,
