Hafco 1998 BS-7L Horizontal Bandsaw wiring?????
I'm in the process of refurbing a cheaply obtained bandsaw, but the wiring was stuffed (burnt out main switch, wires just twisted & taped together) & it all needs replacing. I've downloaded the Hafco Manual, but it's pretty lame, looks like it was photostated.
Would anyone have an "excellent" un-hacked up BS-7L bandsaw they wouldn't mind taking some pics of/or drawing a wiring diagram of the 3 pin power cord connections to the motor/reset switch box & then of the connections in the main switch box.
A big ask I know, but I've spent hours on the net trying to find a clear diagram to follow, & I want to cut some metal.
Kind Regards
Ken

Have a look at the Grizzly site as well because they have the manuals online and are always great manuals.
You will have to go through the list to find one similar to yours or the same.

Thanks Dave, I'll have a look.
The only problem I've hit with O/S manuals is they usually refer to 110v & 220-230v with white & red wires. I need the AU 240v info.

I have a bandsaw not unlike the older BS-7L (or many the next size up)
If you google "bandsaw g0561_m.pdf" I think the first hit is what you are looking for(?I cant up load it, must be to big)
If that doesnt help I could take some pics if I have the same saw.

I know what you mean, it might give you the basics though.
I think this is the one
G9743 7" x 12" Geared Head Metal-Cutting Bandsaw
I am pretty sure Stuart has the same model and one other member here has that saw.
