soundproofing rubber
Just a query in regards to the rubber tape from clark rubber used between studs and the wall to help soundproof a room.
Im fixing 25mm thick mdf panels to jarrah studs, how many rubber blocks do i need to use to make it effective. The whole of the stud or just where i fix it? Do i need to use those special clips or should i just screw it?
The panels are heavy but the bottom edge will sit on concrete slabs.
Also how expensive is the rubber? It is quite a large area i need to clad.
