Plumbing - Jointing Compound
What's this 'stuff'' called?
My old plumber mate, now deceased, when we were installing new zincalume guttering & downpipes 10 yrs ago had a tin of 'stuff' that he used to seal/join where the single length of downpipe had to be cut and angled at 20' and bent back on itself. (LOL Does that make sense, he cut a v shaped piece out of the single run of guttering then bent it).
It was not like a Silicone Sealer from Selleys etc, it was in a tin, was paintable and quite thick.
I will use a silicone sealer if I have to, just thought whatever this 'stuff' was might be the shot.... if only I could remember the name.
thnx :D
