Plumbing - old steel pipe lengths
Hi all
Does anyone know the 'standard' length of old steel pipes. My house is about 100 years old and I have a section of old steel pipe that is inground which I need to remove for my deck project. Any my usual plumber said if I dig it clear he can freeze the pipe and replace at the previous join (threaded I assume). This save me a a few $$ a I am doing the digging, but how far will I have to dig??
Cheers
Scott
