Any suggestions for getting round a size/layout problem in a tiny upstairs 2nd bathroom? The plumbing is roughed in with a shower over bath (see left side of photo)near the wooden casement windows, is there any way to retain the shower or ditch it all together? Or do something with the windows?
This room has a dormer insert only 1350 wide when linings are on, with 47 degree roof pitch either side, and if the bath is 1500 long chances are you will hit your head when you try to get out.
I have thought of a deep soaker japanese bath, it will fit, but then have no room for a shower either. It is a 2nd floor bathroom, and the frame is hardwood and it should take the weight.
The usable floor space is minimal, the room is about 2700 wide, and about 2 metres from window to door and a lot of that space is taken up with the roof angle so is not usable. Photo below.
