Re-coating timber benchtop
Hello, About 12 years ago we installed a Country Form Kitchen (Sydney based Company no longer in business) that is made from recycled Oregon. The bench tops are in need of major restoration and unfortunately I don't know what Country Form used as their finish coatings. If anyone out there knows, or is aware of what they used, I would appreciate advice on how best to restore the bench top and refresh the doors, drawers etc. I'm aware that most likely I need to sand the bench top to a clean raw surface to take out any dents and scratches etc. Many thanks.

You can refinish your old table without have to know the previous finish.
Wipe off your old finish with acetone, and sand your wood until your get smooth and even surface and you can start your new finishing process.
