    Default Murgon Queensland

    Hei Folks,
Got the possibility of a job there, I don't really want it but it may be my only option.
I've heard it's pretty nasty but as with anything you only every hear the bad. Can anyone tell me more about the place in terms of living there.
Feel free to PM me if you'd rather not talk openly.
    Cheers
    Paul

My brother lived there for a few years about 35 years ago, it was ok then. Don't know what it is like now.

You don't have to live in the town in which you work.
There are plenty of examples of living in one community and travelling to a different work location.
I live in a village but didn't work here before I retired. I car pooled with some work colleagues and drove 35km each way to and from the workplace. They came further than me (55km and 70km ) and used my place as a changeover point. When it was my turn to drive, they car-pooled to my home, parked at my place for the day and picked up their car in the afternoons.
We had great times in that car pool.
It might be worth your while looking around to see what other centres are the most attractive to live in.
    Cheers
