Default Drying times (Vic) and best finish

I have just finished butchering up a chest and need some advice on the finishing please.

It is a recycled hardwood skeleton with 3mm structural ply inserts. I stained the ply with some thin mahogany stain and left it to dry then have applied 2 coats of tung oil to the whole thing. I plan on appling one more coat of oil then allowing it to dry.

How long should I allow it to dry in the current victorial climate ( a balmy 12-16 degrees most days) before the nest step. I believe the average time is at least a week but do you extend if it is colder/hotter etc.

I then am thinking of either applying a coat of EEE (a plug for out most generous board host ) or a coat of mirratone. Any suggestions on which would be better!!

Assuming you mean Mirotone lacquer...is it wise to put that over any oil finish? And just out of curiosity, why oil before any lacquer finish?
