    Default Auction System Feedback Question.

I noticed a Jet Morticer listed in the Auctions section during the week. I was interested in the unit, it was a available with a BIN price I could afford, and it was within 60km of home so it was viable to purchase it. I bit the bullet and hit the Buy It Now with Paypal button concluded the Paypal formalities and sent Steve (the seller) a message to find a suitable time to collect the item. In doing this I found a Feedback section in Steve's profile and became aware that there was a feedback system operating.

I met Steve today and collected the unit, and went to leave feedback for the deal tonight. If I click on Steve's username at the sale listing, and get the list of possible actions, one is Leave Feedback. I tried this and get a message that I am not authorised to leave feedback for Steve. Thought that maybe the feedback system wasn't activated or something and started checking FAQ's. They mention sellers being able to block bids from people with poor feedback etc, suggesting feedback system is activated.

Kept prowling and checked 'My Activity' in the auctions systems, which shows an unsuccessfull bid on a drill a while ago but does not show the BIN with Paypal transaction with Steve, which in turn suggests a reason why I can't leave him feedback, i.e the system has lost track of the deal.

Another possibility is that the FB system only reflects sellers views of buyer and not vice versa. I found Steve a delightfull and very co-operative chap to deal with and would be more than happy to provide positive feedback for him, particularly as he is moving house, downsizing his shop and selling a number of items.

    Any suggestions? Thanks
