A Health Warning to Woodworkers
Please note the warning I posted about the serious health risks in handling / cutting / splitting REDGUM (& forest REDGUM or Qld Blue Gum), especially if it is hollow and inside is rotten / powdery.
Firewood cutters especially are susceptible to spores of a Cryptococcus fungi. More details are posted in the TIMBER forum section.
