Another stash for the addiction
I got some Conkerberry from SEQ Woodworking (Dave Drescher) a while back, beautiful orange with spectacular grain. As usual, mostly eaten out by white ants, but plenty of meat for pen blanks and left-overs for WW pen blanks.
I was starting to run out, so on my way to Brisbane today, I called in to see what he had left. I was only after a few more branchesand was picking out my choice when he made me an offer for his entire crate for a BARGAIN. Being the addict I am when it comes to timber, I couldn't resist.
The crate ended up had far more than I thought. Apart from heaps of Conkerberry, there was a few logs of Jacaranda (the big one in middle, not surehow good it is), Orange Box, even some False SandalwoodAll very dry.
Now where to put itNeil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

I lot of cutting and casting ahead of me. Might look at slicing some of the larger pieces for boxes or even segmental bowl.
Sure to be some for the next BBQ door prizes tooNeil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new
