Some Swiss and German Gems
Here are some links doe those who like BT and Greg Q like some of the European jewels of machine tools. The last one is from Milicron, the owner of Practical Machinist forums. I shudder to think what the $ figure is for any of these machines though, not that I am ever going to have to worry about it.

Graziano may appreciate the sound track on the first two, it should sound great on his new shop amplifier and a good set of speakers.
Rob.
PS. Apologies if you or someone else has already posted these Bob, but if you haven't yet seen them they should be good drooling material. RG.

Seen and posted the Aciera spiral milling clip a while back as an enticer for GQ but hadn't seen the FP1. Given Don "Milacron" Thomas' fondness for commentary on PM, I was suprised by the lack of narration on the clip. I was thinking how quite the machine was until the spindle turned. I did not realise that the feeds were independant of the spindle. The 13's run concurrently.

Those are some very nice machines, I must be getting used to my Jafo Mill's size as everything else looks tiny by comparison now. Nothing like a spot of Jean Michael Jarre analogue synth music to get you going. Right now the amplifier is working on both channels and has been test run with a few minor modifications made to it, I just have to wire up the five way input selector switch and it's done .
Hopefully this is not hijacking the post too much, but I've been listening to these songs amongst others although not while operating powered machinery as the second song would be too ironic for that:
Attery Squash - Devo was right about everything:
