Girl with boots
Hi here's the girl with boots from kathy wise the wood I used are walnut sapele beech and indigibo for the boots and hat thanks for looking

G'day Bob, You snuck this one in between the two Chopper's. Your becoming a bit of a legend at intarsia. Well done mate. One question, what timber is the girl's jacket? It is a most unusual colour. Cheer's Jim.

Hi jim thanks for the kind comments the jacket called for some red coloured wood the nearest I had was sapele which wasnt red enough so my wife suggested using a bit of red food colouring i dont normally like using dyes and stains but I think it worked well on this one

No worries Bob. I can trump that, my GGM on my mothers side came from Kent. My sister spends a lot of time in UK as well, she and BIL have a house near Basingstoke I think, not that far from you. Small world isn't it!!

Crickey Ian it is a small world i live in gravesend in kent my niece was born there my brother emigrated there about 35years ago I also have a sister who also emigrated she lives in Sydney
