I enjoy watching Keith Fenner. He takes the time to show quite a lot of aspects of machining. Has regular videos and a great "YouTube manner". Whilst not a 2min shot in the arm, he is professional, entertaining, provides lots of great tips as he goes about his work and he "gets er done": http://m.youtube.com/#/user/KEF791
Tubal Cain has a bunch of shorter "shot in the arm" videos on just about everything including a "machining tips" set: http://m.youtube.com/user/mrpete222
Tool and Die guy has some interesting tips from time to time: http://m.youtube.com/user/TheToolandDieGuy
That is all I can think of at the moment but there are a bunch more..

I've used this technique a couple of times now, including an internal keyway in a blind hole, which I have found a little more difficult. With a blind hole, the shavings don't tend to come off clean and so build up and increasingly reduce your keyway depth. While it does a great job if that's your only option, I don't think it's all that good for the carriage gears or the rack because of the repetition.
I have seen other setups that have a lever and push the tool in and out without moving the carriage, I think this would be the better setup.
Nice video.
SimonGirl, I don't wanna know about your mild-mannered alter ego or anything like that." I mean, you tell me you're, uh, super-mega-ultra-lightning babe? That's all right with me. I'm good. I'm good.

I love his vids, being Scottish and having grandparents with thick lowlands accents means i can understand him pretty well (yes i know he's a Geordie boy, but, strike me down for saying it, the accents aren't that different).
I'm up to video 5 of his dividing head build at the moment, great stuff DIVIDING HEAD PART 5 - YouTube. His little boxford runs really sweet and smooth, it shows just what can be done on a small lathe.
There is Larry who is active on the LeBlond yahoo group. LarGrin - YouTube

Its trying to understand him that makes it so enjoyable to watch.
Simon, he doesn't hold back at all.
Ueee, I agree about the accent, I think!
I will have to try and look at all these members vids. I am still trying to download all of Keith Fenners vids and to catch up to see what I don't have of Tubalcains since you sent me that heapof them. On 10G per month it takes a while.

This method also works with most external keyways, to a point.
