Water tank base
I'm going to lay a concrete base for a 10,000 ltr water tank. Is there a formula for working out the thickness and size of the base?
Cheers Tony

I made mine 100mm thick and at least 200mm wider than the tank. You can also use a compacted crusher dust base, but personally, if the site has any decent slope on it then I would go concrete (which is what we have done on our new tanks because of slope).
Cheers.
Vernon.
