What kind of finish is this?
Hey guys. I've been searching around and asking questions everywhere no one in any store can answer me what finish this is. It's cost me a lot of money trying suggestions people from stores have given me. So any help will be appreciated. DSC_0327.jpg

Hey thanks for the reply. It's just a coffee table, high gloss finish bought from amart. I want to finish my desk like this.

Hard to tell exactly from the photo. Can amart tell you? Odds are it's sprayed so you're better off talking to spray painters/finishers instead of paint supply stores. A good one will easily give you a good if not exact colour match in an appropriate finish.

My guess would be industrial two-pack poly. Not really a practical finish to do at home - but most professional spray places will do it.
I reckon I could get pre-cat lacquer to look like that, with lots of buffing after spraying. That is practical to do at home, if you have good spray gear.
Cheers

Im far from any expert, BUT that looks like vinyl wrap. I only say that because I just had some kitchen cupboards finished in that recently and it looks just like that.

Could also be Acid Etch.

If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.
