Quick pointer on finishing off poly
Hi All,
Just need a little pinter regarding finishing off cabots CFP product Satin finish. So far I have put the first coat on and I am wondering which direction to head from here so any advices would be great.
Option 1 is to finish as per the Manufactures Rec.
Option 2. Finish as per Neil's polishers hand book to a Satin Finish. Using Wet and dry and finishing with a wax and 000 steel wool.
Question re this: Do you sand with the grain?? and in lue of U-beaut Traditional Wax (Sorry) is there any product that will give the similar result to get me buy until I can get some.
Is this wax process suitable for on periodical maintenance.
Or is there any other suggestions.
Thanks for any advice.
P.S. This if for a Kitchen benchtop.
