What to do about rough patches in Merbau deck?
Hi. We have a brand new merbau deck which has some rough patches on it (probably as a result of the lowest grade timber being used by the dodgy deck company we used but that's a longer story covered in another post!) My question is how can improve these patches if at all? The ones that concern me the most are the ones that are so rough that they are actually splintering and I'm worried about my children's bare feet. Thankfully there are only a couple of these, but they could cause some nasty injuries.
Thanks.
