    My name is Jason,i live in the central west of New South Wales.
    i do some woodcarving but would like to buy a small lathe
    & try some turning.So i will be on here asking questions regarding
    lathe's, tools etc.,or anthing else i may (will) need help with.

    Nice part of the world to live - Glen McGrath country I believe.

    Don't make the mistake of buying a small lathe because you think you can't turn small things on a big lathe. A big lathe can be used to turn small stuff but a small lathe can't be used to turn big stuff.

    Your right artme .
    Glen Mcgrath & Melinda Gainsford-Taylor are from Narromine.
    It's a great part of the country.

    Welcome Jason. Narromine eh? well now that brings back memories, My son was born in Narromine hospital in 1970. Wow that seems a lifetime ago. Great little spot. Good to have you here.
