Default Tell me it's a joke...

    http://www.smh.com.au/photogallery/2...724556520.html

I'm sorry, but if I saw a bloke wearing a skirt like the 'chap' in one of these pics, I would feel honour bound to slay him with the nearest blunt object.

Don't talk to me about kilts, that's different (and they're Scots). This is just WRONG

SilentC I don't think it looks that bad.

Reminds me of the time when I attended a blokey function (a geologist's barbeque) in Darwin (redneck central). I wore a mauve shirt, without it ever occurring to me that it might give the wrong impression. A geologist, who had slurped a number of beers, wanted to punch me out for being a poofter (not that there is anything wrong with that, as Seinfeld would say). I was forced to beat a strategic retreat and be more careful thereafter about my choice of shirt colour.

This is a breach of the Code of Practice of such enormous magnitude that it might constitute a capital offence.

On the other hand, I notice that the designer is a woman so she is obviously(to borrow a phrase from the Captoon) jest toking the pooss! (Unless, of course, Vivienne is the name of a male person   (who, if that were the case, could not be described accurately as a bloke)!

We've all seen pictures of Al wearing this sort of thing, so I think you should lay off and let a bloke wear a skirt if he wants.

Its not a joke its called .. Fashion. Look at some of the women fashion events where you see them wearing bird cages over their heads. All we can hope is that they never make it out into the real world.

God's teeth, but that's just bluidy awful Don't mind (aka like) delicious non-male types wearing silly gear at fashion shows, but so-called 'chaps' wearing this sort of kit... If that blunt object isn't worn out, can I borrow it please? otherwise I'll just have to bring a sharper object.. a "scary sharp" object, for the use of...

    Cheers,

That'll teach you to rock up to a Geologist's barbeque....they're generally pretty boring affairs anyway...a bunch of boring gits, most of whom barely scraped through their uni degrees, all milling around talking about geology. Worse than a teachers barbeque.

Cant understand why the purple shirt caused you so much trouble.....whenever theres a Geologist's bbq at my house youd be hard pressed to find many people wearing "normal" colours.
Whatever note you blow youre never more than a semitone away from the correct one....(Miles Davis)
