Wifey has picked a lighter coloured grout for the tiles in the bathroom that gets the most traffic and the grubbiest traffic, being the bathroom near the back door. (5 acre block, clay soil :-)
I have read up on grouts and additives and come to the conclusion that my best option to get a reasonably well sealed grout and reasonable flexibility (tiles over f/cement sheet over water-proof chipboard over joists) and keep the cost reasonable , is to use a PVA & water mix to mix the grout.

My question is, has anyone done this, and if so what proportion of water to PVA did you use, what was the degree of difficulty in removing the grout haze, and how effective was the result as far as sealing the grout is concerned?

Also, what PVA did you use? (Bondcrete, Flotrol, Aquadhere, other?)
