Hi,
planning on starting on my deck soon and am after some advice regarding mitre saws. I will need to do quite a few angle cuts - I don't want to spend a fortune on a professional compound mitre saw, but don't want to get an elcheapo that doesn't do the job. I have seen an ozito at $186 which looks alright to my untrained eyes but am aware that ozito isn't the worlds most trusted power tool brand. I have read that cheaper mitre saws can be inconsistent in the accuracy of their cuts.

So seeing that I will probably use the saw quite rarely after the deck what I really want is the cheapest compound mitre saw that will actually do the job of cutting decking boards.

I also considered hiring a saw but that will cost at least $75 for a day, which ties me down timewise, and the models I have seen for hire don't look like anything special - so I may as well buy one that gives me the option of using it later

Any ideas ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Tom.
