Farmer's bull
A hiker was taking a shortcut across a farmer's paddock and he spotted a big angry looking bull.
He called out to the farmer, "Is that bull safe?"
The farmer replied, "He's a lot safer than you are."

One of my favourite movie scenes (One of the Pink Panther series IIRC):
Inspector Clousseau (Peter Sellers) is interviewing a hotel clerk. A little dog is yapping away at Sellers feet. Sellers asks, "Does your dog bite?"
The hotel clerk says, "No."
Sellers says "Nice doggie," and reaches down to pet the dog, which promptly chomps into his hand.
Sellers: "I thought you said your dog doesn't bite!"
Clerk: "That is not my dog."

Two Cows
There are two very sad cows in the pasture.
They just heard the farmer invite a neighbor over for a drink and to shoot the bull.
