sometime in the next week we are going to reno the bathroom, new vanity, shower, toilet, plaster & floor, should take more than 4 or 5 days we reckon
Anyway, a couple of queries.

SWMBO wants polished boards for the floor, no lino, no tiles, so off to the recycle yard I will go and get enough hardwood boards to do the job. To match the kitchen we would like to use a polyurethane satin finish, anyone foresee any problems with this ?

3 walls will be tiled (400x400 tiles), the 4th wall will be painted. Would it be better to have skirting board between tiles & floor, or tile right down (leave 5mm gap?) to floor and finish with some beading (1/4 circle profile maybe?) ?

Which would be better to go with, villboard or Wet Area Plasterboard, or is there no real difference between using the two ?
