What is a Veritas 05P22.60 ?
I ordered a low-angle block plane from The Wood Works and they sent me a 20-degree standard instead but the model number 05P22.60 isn't one I recognise; the standard block plane should be a 05P22.30, right? Date on label indicates this stock is 10 years old so perhaps a previous version of the O1 steel standard angle?

The standard and low angle block planes all have the same prefix and just have different suffixes.
The suffix also varies with blade material and bevel angle.
We can guess but an email to Lee Valley will sort it out quickly.

Got a prompt reply from LV on Twitter: 05P2260 is the body only of the standard block plane
So I'm guessing my supplier just cracked open a box of the standard and put the blade in the box.
Confusion resolved!

The blade container is marked 05P22.02 so it's the A2 steel blade so I can hold onto that and just return the body.

Fair chance it would be more user friendly if it was swapped for a pm or 01 blade.
